SMS - Strawberry Lemon-(Orange)-ade

This week's recipe for Sweet Melissa Sundays is Strawberry Lemonade, chosen by Jessica of My Baking Heart. If you're tired of winter and are looking forward to spring and summer, this is the recipe for you. You can find it HERE. It's sweet and tart, with a great strawberry flavor. Thanks for a great pick, Jessica!

Final thoughts/tips:
  • Hubby is not a big fan of lemonade so I was going to make only half a recipe. But then I thought, if I make the whole recipe, I'll have more to share, so that's what I did.
  • My only change to the recipe was to use 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice and 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice, instead of 1 cup of lemon juice.
  • Since this isn't strawberry season, I used frozen strawberries from our garden from last summer. I also didn't strain it because I don't mind strawberry seeds.

  7. Orange juice sounds good with the lemon and strawberry. It looks good. I passed on this one. We aren't big lemonade people here. :)

  10. Orange juice would have been so good in this. I didn't strain mine either (and even had a few floaty chunks...don't tell!)
