But since it's normally eaten with a cup of tea or coffee, it's considered a coffee cake.<br /><br />@Margot: I'm glad you had a good experience with this one too and that everybody liked it. My friend, Wafae, also refrigerated the dough overnight and found it easy to handle when cold. Will try that next time.<br /><br />@Virginia: try it! You won't regret it! I think yeast breads are fun to make, but don't get around to them as often as I'd like.<br /><br />I had seen this on The Kitchn a while back; they had made the dough the night before and refrigerated it after the first rise, so that's what I did and I think the dough was a little firmer as a result (plus it was less work in the morning).
